Universal Union is an organization founded by Rick Biondi dedicated to inspiring a post-Trump world order based on political and economic conservatism. As a practical stepping stone toward an eventual universal union based on federalist principles, we support the establishment of:
- a sound universal monetary order (international gold standard);
- a universal anti-ballistic missile defense system;
- a universal decentralized defense system (a militia-based system); and
- a Universal House of Consent.
Consistent with Federalist #10, we believe an international federation is necessary to control the effects, rather than the causes, of faction on a global scale. We seek to end globalization without representation, checks, and balances. Bottom line, world order should ultimately serve individual freedom, not nations.
About Rick Biondi
Biondi has studied world order strategy since 1994. He earned a BA in political science from the University of Washington (1997); studied international relations at the graduate level at the University of Idaho (1998-2000); and holds an MA in Security Management from American Military University (2014).
Biondi is a former executive consultant/historian for the Association to Unite the Democracies (2001-2002). AUD (formerly known as Federal Union, Inc.) was inspired by the late Clarence K. Streit in 1939. Rick also served on the Board of the Ashburn Institute—a research institute spawned by AUD around 2004.
In 2008, Biondi ran for U.S. Congress in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District as a representative of the Libertarian Party against Jeff Flake. Today, Rick considers himself a Goldwater-style conservative.
Rick is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served as an Airborne Ranger with the 2nd Ranger Battalion (1989-1991) and a motorized infantryman with the 1/33rd Armor (1991-1992).
